Hey there, I'm Michelle!
I'm a product designer and front-end developer based in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology from UC Irvine and a UX Design Career certificate from Springboard. With 5 years of experience in digital marketing, a business acumen, and 2 years of experience in service design, I create innovative, scalable, and resilient user experiences. Given my front-end skills, I bridge the gap between design and development teams, ensuring smooth handoffs.
My journey began with graphic design and marketing during college, where I developed a strong empathy for users. This led me to self-teach coding and independently revamp the UCI Basic Needs Center website in 2022, enhancing access and productivity. This experience ignited my passion for product design and full-time pursuit!
I am currently available for freelance projects and seeking a full-time position in Product Design, UX Design, UX research, or web development. If you'd like to collaborate or chat, shoot me an email, connect with me on LinkedIn, or both!

Some of your questions
The polls home page presents a comprehensive list of polls: open, draft, and closed. It was difficult to scan or find polls without clear indicators, organization, and options to sort, filter, or search. We also couldn’t tell what we were supposed to do besides creating a new poll, as it’s the only clear CTA.

During college, I was a Peer Educator and led a team to build a program to promote financial wellness, so I'm kind of a nerd about money. Reach out if you want to learn more!

Inheriting my dad’s Canon 400D and Sony camcorder at 12 years old is how I fell in love with storytelling and visual arts. After a couple upgrades, I now own a Sony A7III!
